Perspective of a Future Farmer
Acrylic on Canvas
48x60 inches
During my time in Northeast Arkansas, I have come to appreciate the beauty and function that come from fields that fill the area. Perspective of a Future Farmer was inspired by my' son’s kindergarten field trip picking cotton on a local farm. The image of a small, young boy looking at his future as a farmer, the large amount of work ahead and enormous value that his work will add to the community and country. This future is represented by the large cotton picker. The warm, beautiful sunset represents the beauty in this future, the long, tiring days, and the satisfaction found in finishing a hard day’s work.

White Gold
Heavy Acrylic on Canvas
24x36 inches
During my time in Northeast Arkansas, I have come to appreciate the beauty, function, and value that come from fields that fill the area. This piece “White Gold” highlights those ideals. The hardness and structure of the full body acrylic paint is meant to contrast the soft bolls of cotton.

Her Last Communion
Heavy Acrylic on Church Pew Leg
10.5x16 inches
2025
During my great aunts final days fighting cancer, she and other family members took communion together and it ended up being her last time. Her faith meant so much to her that painting a piece of this communion on an old church pew leg seemed a fitting remembrance of her.
